Blog 1: A country I would like to visit

 Hi everyone! 

My name is Nayharet Castillo Hurtado and It is the first blog of English IV: A country I would like to visit.

I would like to visit Ecuador, because I would like to know and to go all over Latin America and Ecuador I don't know why attracts me much. I know about Ecuador that there is the line of the Equator, a line that divides The Earth in two. Also I know that part of the Amazon is there. The Capital of Ecuador is Quito. I would like to visit Museums, indigenous communities, the line of the equator, their main monuments, Art Galleries and Natural monuments. I would trek in the Andes mountains. I would like to study in there because I love to learn in any place of the world. I would learn about their culture, especially about their indigenous people and their art. I would understand about their social process and maybe work in Ecuador as a teacher of arts or artist.

BLOG 6: A GREAT ARTIST

 HI EVERYONE!!

Lotty Rosenfeld

Lotty Rosenfeld was a Chilean visual artist. She was born in 1943 and died in 2020. In 1968 she graduated from the Art School of the University of Chile. She was very active politically, especially during the dictatorship. She took her practice to the public space, developing many interventions, art actions and performance. In 1979 she formed CADA (Colectivo de acciones de arte) along with Juan Castillo, Fernando Balcelles, Diamela Eltit and Raúl Zurita.

She also worked individually in works such as "Una milla de cruces en el pavimento" (1979); highlighting the action, but also photography and video, which she used as a record and also as an artistic medium.

I like this artist very much because she uses art, through collective and also individual actions, to deliver clear messages regarding the social and political context in which she lived. I find this very important and I feel this is like a reference for me. I would love to do something like that.

Blog 5: Photography

 Hi everyone

Today I will talk about a picture that I like. I looked through my gallery and the one I chose is a very funny one: 

I took this picture a month and a half ago, in my bed. It shows Clara or Clarita, and me. My cat always sleeps with me and accompanies me, she is very loyal. I wanted to take a nice picture to send it to my family and at the moment of capturing it, BAM! She sneezed and what remained forever was her funny expression with her tongue out and a strange position. I love Clarita very much and she makes me laugh a lot and also all my family especially when they saw the picture. We even made it a whatsapp sticker hahahah. I like the picture because every time I see it it makes me laugh. My nephew when he saw it made me a video call to laugh with me, it was really a good moment hahahah.

Blog 4: Favorite food

Hi everyone! 

I hope you are feeling well. 
This time I will talk about my favorite food: Black beans with rice <3

This dish is delicious, nutritious and healthy. It consists of sauteing cooked black beans with some vegetables such as onion, carrot or whatever you want, seasoning to taste and olive oil. The rice is cooked with spices, carrots and paprika. These two meals are put together in a plate and served. It can be accompanied with a tomato salad or a chickpea mayonnaise.

I really like it because of the texture and flavor of the beans and rice together. I love it because it is vegan and nutritious. It's very healthy and that's why I eat it a lot. It provides protein and cereal, the essentials in a meal. Nutritionists recommend it a lot.

BLOG 3: My favorite piece of technology

My favorite piece of technology

Hi everyone! 

In this occasion I will speak about my headphones. I use them to calm my anxiety specially when I am in public places. That is why I use everyday, because they support me day to day. I recommend their use, totally.

I think that being able to listen to music or podcast in the public transport is VERY necessary. When I use the headphones I can forget that I am in the uncomfortable place. My favorite podcast to listen in the Metro is "Leyendo la Moda" by Martina Barroeta and my favorite singer for this is Jorge Drexler.

One negative thing of headphones is that I usually lose them:(. For this reason I have two or more always. Another negative thing is that I feel scared when I use in the street, because here they rob a lot.

Hi everyone!

I will talk about my career today: Visual Arts. When I was a child, I wanted to be a dancer, teacher and wardrobe designer. I like all options. But when I was applying at the university I had the other options: Political Science, theatre and dancing. 

I decided to study Visual Arts after finishing the summer school of Arts of University of Chile. This was an incredible experience! 

I entered this career in 2019 and my experience in the university so far has been special, very difficult, but very satisfying. The best is to make friends!

If we speak of the future, I would like to be a teacher of Arts. I love teaching, but also I love to make art. I would like to be an  Artist. I see myself doing a lot of things.

Blog one: Autobiography

 Hi!

My name is Nayharet Castillo and my nickname is Nay or Nayi. I was born here in San Bernardo, Chile 20th of august 2000.  My godmother and grandmother raised me, i love this. My mom has mental disruption and my dad is not in my life. My family is composed of my friends Rubén, Catalina, Kevin and Victor (and Xaviera but died), my sister Yasna and her son Vicente and Facundo, my godmother Vicky and her daughter Karin(I live with her), my grandmother Emelina, my boyfriend Rolando and my cat Clarita. My family is selected, for that reason I love this with all my heart.

I studied in Agustiniano School in El Bosque all my life. Currently, I study Visual Arts and photography at the University of Chile.  I love the career. I hate the school.

In my free time I like to sleep and watch series like "This is us". My hobby is playing with my nephew and going to mountain (I love trekking). Another thing I like is dancing. 

I want  to be a teacher in the future, "the miss of arts". I want to travel, study and eat rich lifelong.
